Pride House – Supporting anti-discrimination through development assistance for education

Education is a main priority in Norwegian development cooperation, and with this event, Norad together with partners Sex og Politikk (IPPF Norway) and SAIH wish to look at experiences, challenges and possibilities for raising awareness and combatting discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression in schools. These thematic areas encounter strong resistance internationally, and at this event we wish to highlight and discuss what we are able to achieve together, and how. The event will take form of a panel, and participants include Norad’s Director General Jon Lomøy, and representatives from the global south through IPPF Norway’s and SAIH’s international network. There will be room for questions and comments from the floor.
