Transport

The airport

Oslo is served by two airports. The main airport, Gardermoen (OSL), serves direct flights to all major European cities, including London, Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt, Copenhagen and Stockholm. Affordable daily direct flights from New York and Los Angeles are also available. See the map of direct flights.

The airport express

Free round trip airport express tickets will be included in the registration fee. The distance to the airport is 49 kilometers (about 30 miles). The airport express train takes you to downtown in 19 minutes.

The Oslo Airport Express Train is a proud sponsor of Oslo Pride. You can watch their pride commercial «Don’t waste your time»:

In 2016 The Airport Express wanted music producer Facundo Marino to create music from the heart. He took it literally, and made this for our pride:

Pridebeat Oslo

Vi ba musikkprodusent Facundo Marino om å lage musikk som kom fra hjertet. Han tok det bokstavelig. Se vår hyllest til kjærligheten og til Oslo Pride.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

We will provide transportation between the various locations. All LGBTQI venues are within walking distance from the hotel, however, the subway and tram lines are also an available option. Tickets to the public transportation system cost 32 (NOK), about 4 (USD). A single ticket may be used on all subways, trams, buses and ferries.

The city bike system is also a popular option. You may pick up city bikes on bike racks all over the city and deliver them on an available bike rack at your destination. The city bikes are free to use for 45 minutes at a time.

Oslo City Bike is also a sponsor of Oslo Pride. Watch their pride commercial «Ride with Pride» (look for our queer bikes):
